Manny & Damaris | Austin, Texas Hamilton Pool | Engagement


I am elated to share Manny and Damaris' engagement session with you all. Along the journey I was able to chat with Damaris and get to know their story. Scroll below to see in Damaris own words her story about their love. While her answers may be concise, I loved her description of her dream wedding. Every couple's love is multidimensional and unique. I am so fortunate to do what I do to capture these stories in time.

Where did you two meet? "We met through a mutual friend. I was on my way to pick her up and she made me give him a ride home and I was so mad because he was taking my time away with her."

How long have you two been together? "We've been together for about 8 months."

Was it love at first sight or did you have to win each other over? "Manny said he always admired me from a distance, but he never tried getting his hopes up. I needed more time though."

Where did you get engaged? "We got engaged at Butler Park"

What's your dream wedding?

"I always thought I would be more exact about what I wanted for my wedding. But as I plan it, it's just already my dream wedding because I'll marry Manny and spend that day with people I love.

I would want at least 2 more wedding dresses though (laughs)."

If you could sum up your LOVE story in a few words, what would it be? "If I could describe my love story in a few words it would be something like "He was right there all along".
