Nhi and Akuma have a special story. It was a privilege to be a part of this amazing day as they embarked on this journey together. It started as a bright sunny day in their home just outside New Orleans. Entering the home I immediately noticed the sweet sound of chatter and laughter filling the house from top to bottom. Every room was filled with their closest friends and family members. Before we get too far into the details, there is a little story behind their big day I would like to share. Akuma is an officer for the New Orleans Police Department. Nhi and Akuma had been together for some time when they decided to make their vows of commitment to each other. They were married at the court of New Orleans. Now a year and half later they, along with their family, are elated to be celebrating their bond of matrimony in their family's church.
In true New Orleans fashion, Jackson Square was filled with people and performers as we arrived at the St. Louis Cathedral. We were astounded by the way the NOPD were able to clear the square and get the couple to the front doors without a fuss.
I loved their very first look for the day! It clearly shows their personalities and the love they have for each other.
All the charms of the cake pull were New Orleans themed.
